About Optics for the Tropics, Inc.

Optics for the Tropics, Inc. is a 501 c (3) charitable organization that provides quality binoculars to ornithologists in the Caribbean and Latin America for bird conservation work. We receive no government funding. We depend on private donations and occasional fundraisers to purchase equipment. Our mission is to focus resources that will improve monitoring, research, management, and education programs involving birds and their habitats. Collaborations for the conservation of migratory birds are essential between countries as their range crosses political boundaries.

Optics for the Tropics, Inc. is a not for profit organization incorporated under the law of State of Florida and is a tax-exempt organization under the Internal Revenue Code.
